The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovation and Research (IJIIR) strictly adheres to proper ethical guidelines for academic publications and maintains a Zero Tolerance policy towards plagiarism.

All submitted research articles are screened using Turnitin software to detect any potential similarity. If the similarity index exceeds 19%, the manuscript is immediately returned to the author(s) for revision or rejection.

IJIIR follows the plagiarism policies and ethical standards outlined by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). These frameworks guide the editorial board in determining whether and to what extent plagiarism exists.

If plagiarism or any other form of unethical academic conduct is identified after publication, the editorial board has full authority to retract the paper in accordance with HEC’s policy. All authors are held individually and collectively responsible for the content of their manuscript.

Consequences of Plagiarism

  • Notify the affiliated institutions of the authors.
  • Blacklist the authors from future submissions to the journal.

Self-Plagiarism

IJIIR does not allow self-plagiarism, which includes:

  • Literal or significant reuse of an author's own previously published work.
  • Submission of material under consideration elsewhere.

Authors must ensure that the submitted work is entirely original, even if it builds upon previous research.
