About the Journal

Al-Irfan Research Center (SMC-Private) Limited Lahore, Pakistan launched the “Hikmat International Journal of Arts and Social Sciences (HIJASS)” in 2024 with the aim of promoting high-quality research in the disciplines of arts and social sciences. It is a biannual, peer-reviewed, double-blind, and open-access research journal, providing a scholarly platform for researchers, faculty members, and academic professionals at the national and international levels.

HIJASS encourages original research in a wide range of fields, including but not limited to: Literature, Linguistics, Philosophy, Education, History, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Political Science, Cultural Studies, Media Studies, and other topics relevant to the arts and social sciences. The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that explore the intersection of culture, society, and academic thought.

The journal is committed to academic excellence, publication ethics, and fostering intellectual dialogue across various domains of the humanities and social sciences. The Chief Editor of the journal is Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, Associate Professor, Department of Social Sciences, UVAS,  Lahore.
